NATHAN SCOTT - bronze sculpture
Nathan Scott was born and raised in Victoria on Vancouver Island. After graduation from high school in 1988, Nathan headed for the Yukon Territories to seek his fame and fortune. Upon arriving in the North, the first couple of years were spent pursuing a career as an aircraft mechanical engineer. Falling under the curse of gold fever, Nathan spent the rest of his time working in the gold fields of the North, helping with the reconstruction of the Alaska Highway near the Alaska/Yukon border.
After nine years Nathan sold his Mukluks and moved back to Victoria for a change in lifestyle. In settling back on the island he was made aware of his God-given gift of sculpture. Most of Nathan's sculptures reflect his love for people, young and old, interacting with their particular situations and surroundings, especially around the home and garden. Through Nathan's sculpture he hopes to take you back to a simpler life of days gone by with loved ones, family, and friends.
