PAM DANGERFIELD - fiber artist



Pam Dangerfield is a fiber artist involved in regional, national and international exhibitions, commissioned artwork, judging and jurying. As a freelance teacher she has worked with many guilds and organizations in Canada and the United States. Her work has been exhibited widely and is represented in private and corporate collections in Canada, the USA and Japan. She has authored correspondence courses on design, colour and machine embroidery, numerous articles and three books "Ideas for Inspiration", "A Day in the Gallery" and “A Free Motion Machine Embroidery Workbook”. She has been awarded an Alberta Achievement Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fiber Art by the Government of Alberta, a Director's Award, Needle Expressions by the Council of American Embroiderers and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Needlearts in 2009.
