Vancouver native Janet Lee wears an environmental consultant hat during the work week. It was here while exploring the formal application of computers, she was able to break out of the confines of office and graphics applications to experiment with digital technology. Her environmental background influences her work, where she often incorporates nature themes into her work. A mixed media collage artist, Janet experiments in both 2-D and 3-D, traditional and digital, small and large. For Art In The Garden this year, she has created a series of collage pendants.
Besides organizing Art In The Garden, Janet has been a board member for the Imagination Market, past coordinator for many years with Artists in Our Midst, and is currently coordinator for ReVision - the Art Of Recycling.
